Abstract (English) Research in the parishes of Quinticusig and Zumbahua, Cotopaxi, examined wool quality in 164 Creole sheep before and after administering an antiparasitic vaccine against Strongyloides, Haemonchus contortus, and Cooperia curticei. Average fiber diameter was measured using the S-FIBER EC V3.1 portable instrument using light diffraction; length, crimp, density, strength, and breaking point were determined manually. The paired Wilcoxon test was applied. The results revealed statistically significant improvements in fineness, length, crimp, density, and strength with p < 0.05, reflecting a significant advance in wool productivity and quality. Title A name given to the resource Propuesta y validación preliminar de una rúbrica para la evaluación docente en entornos virtuales en carreras de obstetricia Description An account of the resource Resumen La evaluación del desempeño docente en entornos virtuales ha cobrado especial relevancia en la educación superior, particularmente en carreras de ciencias de la salud, donde las exigencias pedagógicas y clínicas requieren criterios de evaluación claros y contextualizados. No obstante, persiste una carencia de instrumentos validados que respondan a las dinámicas propias de la docencia digital. Este estudio tuvo como objetivo diseñar y validar preliminarmente una rúbrica para la evaluación docente en modalidad virtual, aplicada a programas universitarios de Obstetricia. Se desarrolló una investigación de tipo instrumental con enfoque cuantitativo. La rúbrica se estructuró en cuatro dimensiones: planificación didáctica, desarrollo de la clase virtual, interacción docente-estudiante y evaluación del aprendizaje, con 12 criterios y 30 indicadores. La validación de contenido se realizó mediante juicio de expertos, aplicando el coeficiente V de Aiken, mientras que la confiabilidad interna fue estimada con el coeficiente alfa de Cronbach a partir de un pilotaje con evaluadores independientes. Los resultados mostraron un valor promedio de V = 0.89, con todos los criterios por encima del umbral mínimo de aceptación, y una confiabilidad alta con α = 0.91. Además, se incorporaron ajustes estructurales sugeridos por los expertos mediante análisis cualitativo. Se concluye que la rúbrica propuesta es válida, confiable y alineada con el enfoque por competencias, constituyéndose en una herramienta pedagógica útil para la evaluación del desempeño docente en educación virtual universitaria en salud. Abstract (English) The evaluation of teaching performance in virtual environments has gained growing relevance in higher education, particularly in health sciences programs where pedagogical and clinical demands require clear and context-sensitive assessment criteria. However, there remains a lack of validated instruments tailored to the dynamics of online instruction. This study aimed to design and conduct a preliminary validation of a rubric for evaluating teaching performance in virtual settings, specifically within Obstetrics undergraduate programs. A quantitative instrumental research design was used. The rubric was structured into four dimensions—didactic planning, virtual class development, teacher-student interaction, and assessment of learning—comprising 12 criteria and 30 indicators. Content validation was carried out through expert judgment using Aiken's V coefficient, while internal consistency was estimated via Cronbach's alpha, based on a pilot test with independent evaluators. Results showed a mean Aiken’s V of 0.89, with all criteria above the minimum acceptable threshold, and high reliability (α = 0.91). Qualitative analysis of expert feedback led to improvements in the wording and structure of several indicators. It is concluded that the proposed rubric is valid, reliable, and aligned with a competency-based instructional framework, offering a useful pedagogical tool for evaluating teaching performance in virtual health education settings. El objetivo fue analizar desde la fenomenología los patrones socioeconómicos que intervienen en el proceso productivo del sector pesquero artesanal del cantón Salinas. La investigación empleó una metodología mixta, combinando encuestas y entrevistas que permitieron determinar que la inseguridad es el factor crítico que limita los procesos de productividad económica. Por último, se plantea que este estudio contribuye a la solución del ODS 16 al percibir la necesidad de instaurar y fortalecer la gobernanza y seguridad en el sector pesquero. Abstract (English) Artisanal fishing faces risks that threaten its integrity and sustainability. In the Salinas canton and its fishing ports, the central problem lies in systemic vulnerability. During the investigation, several socioeconomic patterns were identified through an analysis of the fishing industry that lead to the precariousness of the sector. The objective was to analyze, from a phenomenological perspective, the socioeconomic patterns that intervene in the productive process of the artisanal fishing sector in the Salinas canton. The research used a mixed methodology, combining surveys and interviews, which made it possible to determine that insecurity is the critical factor limiting economic productivity processes. Finally, it is proposed that this study contributes to the solution of SDG 16 by recognizing the need to establish and strengthen governance and security in the fishing sector. Se identificó que las actividades en línea no fomentan eficazmente la autonomía, evidenciando la necesidad de mejorar los planes docentes. Se propuso un modelo de entrenamiento para promover la autogestión y la autonomía desde competencias cognitivas, actitudinales y aplicativas. El estudio se alinea con los ODS 4, 3 y 10. Se empleó un enfoque cuanti-cualitativo, explicativo, con análisis documental, encuestas y métodos hermenéutico e hipotético-deductivo. Abstract (English) The research, conducted with students and teachers from the Basic Education program at Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja (Ecuador), aimed to strengthen autonomous learning in higher education. It was found that online activities do not effectively foster autonomy, highlighting the need to improve teaching plans. A teacher training model was proposed to promote self-management and autonomy through cognitive, attitudinal, and applicative competencies. The study aligns with SDGs 4, 3, and 10. A quantitative–qualitative, explanatory approach was used, incorporating documentary analysis, surveys, and hermeneutic and hypothetical–deductive methods. The study concludes that it is essential to incorporate didactic strategies that develop critical thinking, self-regulation, self-reflection, and self-motivation. El estudio se enmarca en un paradigma sociocrítico con un enfoque cualitativo, cuantitativo. La población de referencia fue la población económicamente activa del cantón Salinas, estimada en 3808 habitantes, de lo cual se obtuvo una muestra de 398 encuestados, el instrumento de recolección de datos demostró una excelente consistencia interna, avalada por un Alfa de Cronbach de 0,920. Los hallazgos muestran la necesidad de resignificar epistémicamente la participación ciudadana para asegurar su efectividad y real contribución al desarrollo endógeno. Abstract (English) This article presents the results of a study on the development of a citizen participation protocol to foster endogenous development in the Salinas canton. The study is framed within a socio-critical paradigm with a qualitative and quantitative approach. The reference population was the economically active population of the Salinas canton, estimated at 3,808 inhabitants, from which a sample of 398 respondents was obtained. The data collection instrument demonstrated excellent internal consistency, as evidenced by a Cronbach’s alpha of 0.920. The findings show the need to epistemically reframe citizen participation to ensure its effectiveness and genuine contribution to endogenous development.
