It was found that online activities do not effectively foster autonomy, highlighting the need to improve teaching plans. A teacher training model was proposed to promote self-management and autonomy through cognitive, attitudinal, and applicative competencies. The study aligns with SDGs 4, 3, and 10. Los resultados revelaron mejoras estadísticamente significativas en finura, longitud, ondulación, densidad y resistencia con p < 0.05, reflejando un avance relevante para la productividad y calidad de la lana. Abstract (English) Research in the parishes of Quinticusig and Zumbahua, Cotopaxi, examined wool quality in 164 Creole sheep before and after administering an antiparasitic vaccine against Strongyloides, Haemonchus contortus, and Cooperia curticei. Average fiber diameter was measured using the S-FIBER EC V3.1 portable instrument using light diffraction; length, crimp, density, strength, and breaking point were determined manually. The paired Wilcoxon test was applied. The results revealed statistically significant improvements in fineness, length, crimp, density, and strength with p < 0.05, reflecting a significant advance in wool productivity and quality. Description An account of the resource Resumen Esta tesis doctoral se enfocó en la estimación de la demanda de nueve modos de transporte, considerando atributos como tiempo de viaje, tiempo de espera, costo de viaje, costo de estacionamiento y cuadras caminadas. Se encontró que los ahorros de tiempo de viaje en días con lluvia son mayores, lo que demuestra la influencia del clima en las decisiones de movilidad. Estas estimaciones son fundamentales para proyectos de transporte, ya que los ahorros de tiempo son una fuente principal de beneficios sociales. Abstract (English) This doctoral thesis focuses on estimating the demand for nine transportation modes, considering key attributes such as travel time, waiting time, travel cost, parking fees, and walking distance. The findings indicate that travel time savings are significantly higher on rainy days, highlighting the impact of weather conditions on mobility choices. These estimates are essential for transportation projects, as time savings represent a primary source of social benefits. Additionally, elasticities were calculated for different policy scenarios, revealing the sensitivity of demand to variations in fares, waiting times, and travel costs. For instance, an increase in tram fares could lead to a significant decline in demand. Abstract (English) The evaluation of teaching performance in virtual environments has gained growing relevance in higher education, particularly in health sciences programs where pedagogical and clinical demands require clear and context-sensitive assessment criteria. However, there remains a lack of validated instruments tailored to the dynamics of online instruction. This study aimed to design and conduct a preliminary validation of a rubric for evaluating teaching performance in virtual settings, specifically within Obstetrics undergraduate programs. A quantitative instrumental research design was used. The rubric was structured into four dimensions—didactic planning, virtual class development, teacher-student interaction, and assessment of learning—comprising 12 criteria and 30 indicators. Content validation was carried out through expert judgment using Aiken's V coefficient, while internal consistency was estimated via Cronbach's alpha, based on a pilot test with independent evaluators. Results showed a mean Aiken’s V of 0.89, with all criteria above the minimum acceptable threshold, and high reliability (α = 0.91). Qualitative analysis of expert feedback led to improvements in the wording and structure of several indicators. It is concluded that the proposed rubric is valid, reliable, and aligned with a competency-based instructional framework, offering a useful pedagogical tool for evaluating teaching performance in virtual health education settings. Title A name given to the resource Habilidades del pensamiento crítico como una herramienta para la gestión docente de una institución educativa Description An account of the resource Resumen El presente estudio investigativo se estableció en la correlación que se plantea entre el desarrollo de las habilidades del pensamiento crítico como una herramienta para la gestión docente de una institución educativa, con un conocimiento objetivo del impacto que puede generarse en los procesos de enseñanza de los educandos. Para la recopilación de la información, se elaboró una encuesta con preguntas de opciones múltiples, que abordaron las estrategias de aprendizaje que utilizan sus docentes en la actualidad, asimismo, se plantearon preguntas sobre el desarrollo de la habilidad del pensamiento crítico, en la que se pudo comprobar el desarrollo actual de la criticidad. Los datos cuantitativos se analizaron manejando técnicas estadísticas descriptivas y correlacionales, analizando estos datos por medio de un estudio de referencias que permitieron la aprehensión objetiva de las experiencias previas de los participantes, es decir estudiantes docentes y directivos de la institución educativa. Se determinó la importancia de que los estudiantes planteen hipótesis de los nuevos saberes, con el propósito de elaborarse un pensamiento propio sobre lo recibido en el aula, desde sus intereses o inclinaciones, para que se constituya ese sujeto critico cuando sea insertado en un contexto social, en la vida adulta. Abstract (English) The present investigative study was established in the correlation that arises between the development of critical thinking skills as a tool for the teaching management of an educational institution, with an objective knowledge of the impact that can be generated in the teaching processes of the students. To collect the information, a survey was developed with multiple choice questions, which addressed the learning strategies that their teachers currently use. Likewise, questions were asked about the development of critical thinking skills, in which was able to check the current development of criticality. The quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive and correlational statistical techniques, analyzing these data through a study of references that allowed the objective apprehension of the previous experiences of the participants, that is, student teachers and managers of the educational institution. The importance of students raising hypotheses about new knowledge was determined, with the purpose of developing their own thoughts about what they received in the classroom, from their interests or inclinations, so that this critical subject is constituted when inserted into a social context, in adult life.
