Abstract (English) The National Precision Agriculture Platform addresses Ecuador's agricultural productivity and sustainability challenges, with only 20% of farmers using digital technologies. The study identifies key barriers: 65% of farming areas lack proper connectivity, high adoption costs, and training needs (82% of producers). International evidence suggests tailored solutions could increase yields by 10-22%. Successful implementation requires differentiated policies addressing Ecuador's production diversity, from large exporters to family farms, combining technological innovation with social inclusion and environmental sustainability through coordinated action between government, private sector and producers.
