Se abordan los desafíos de las competencias digitales, la integración de tecnologías y el desarrollo de habilidades alineadas a las demandas del siglo XXI. Mediante una metodología cuantitativa y descriptiva, se recopilaron datos de estudiantes del distrito Cuenca para identificar brechas entre el currículo actual y las necesidades productivo-digitales. Los hallazgos sustentan una propuesta curricular flexible y sostenible que integra alfabetización digital, emprendimiento y ciudadanía global. Abstract (English) This research presents a prospective study to support changes in the Ecuadorian national curriculum based on a productive and digitalized approach. It addresses the challenges of digital skills, the integration of technologies, and the development of competencies aligned with 21st-century demands. Using a quantitative and descriptive methodology, data were collected from students in the Cuenca district to identify gaps between the current curriculum and productive-digital needs. The findings support the proposal of a restructured, flexible, and sustainable curriculum that integrates digital literacy, entrepreneurship, and global citizenship.
