Este trabajo examina  las ventajas de aplicar un plan de responsabilidad social empresarial (RSE) desde el ámbito financiero para fortalecer la cultura financiera en el sector manufacturero de Cuenca. A partir de una revisión de literatura especializada y normativas vigentes, se identifican las conexiones entre la RSE, el rendimiento económico y la sostenibilidad, proponiendo metas y acciones para que las entidades financieras actúen como promotoras del cambio, impulsando la formación y gestión financiera en las empresas manufactureras. Una cultura financiera sólida, fomentada por iniciativas de RSE, contribuye al bienestar social, la rentabilidad empresarial y la sostenibilidad a largo plazo.&#13;

Abstract (English)&#13;

This paper examines the advantages of implementing a corporate social responsibility (CSR) plan from a financial perspective to strengthen financial literacy in Cuenca's manufacturing sector. Based on a review of specialized literature and current regulations, the paper identifies the connections between CSR, economic performance, and sustainability. It proposes goals and actions for financial institutions to act as promoters of change, fostering financial training and management in manufacturing companies. A strong financial literacy.&#13;
